Who doesn’t like ice cream?
Nia loves the dessert so much, she wanted it to be the theme of her 10th birthday party. Luckily for Nia, her mother is an event planner. Abby of Pretty Posh Events took all of her daughter’s notes, including Nia’s request to make her party feel “adultish,” and planned the perfect “sundae soiree.”

For my daughter Nia’s 10th birthday, she wanted a fun ice cream theme party, but in her own words it needed to look and feel ‘adultish.’ To achieve this, we steered clear of the pastel colors and instead embraced bolder, mature colors. One of her favorite colors is purple, so we worked in reds and gold accents to make the entire event look custom and detailed.
Nia had 12 of her close friends over for games, pizza, sweet treats and even a mini spa session that included manicures and pedicures. We sent the girls home at the end of the day with spa goodies and a whole lot of yummy treats.
