It is altogether remarkable that something as pivotal and powerful as the capacity to create life is also one of nature’s most natural abilities. Rooted in the core of our hearts, family branches the memories of past into the blossoming future, enriching the lives of each generation. Nourished with love and hope, the trees of our families will forever support the forests of existence.
For Helsa, the natural surroundings and family-themes of her Maternity session capture and reflect these sentiments perfectly. The excitement to become a big brother is clearly evident on the face of her first-born. Helsa looks forward most to “seeing my sons grow up together.”

Is this your first child or do you have other children? This is our 2nd child. We have a 1 and a half year old son.
Boy or Girl? Another boy!
How has your pregnancy been? Really smooth. This was a calm pregnancy. I believe this is a reflection of his calm spirit.
All mommy’s-to-be experience those crazy cravings! What’s been your guilty pleasure? WATERMELON!
What was the inspiration for your maternity shoot? This was a family/maternity shoot. We wanted to include our first born to capture his excitement of becoming a big brother. We also wanted to do a natural shoot. Pregnancy is such a beautiful thing and one of the most natural gifts God can bless a family with, so we wanted our shoot to reflect natural beauty.
What aspect of motherhood are you looking forward to the most? Seeing my sons grow up together. I was an only child so knowing that my children will always have a best friend is so comforting.
What is your advice for expecting mothers/parents? Embrace your pregnancy journey and your changing body. When I was pregnant with my 1st son, it was hard to accept my changing body. I embraced pregnancy and motherhood, but did not truly embrace how my body transformed to create life: growing, stretching, creating. But now being pregnant with my 2nd son, I am blessed that God has given me the gift to bear children and I do not take this for granted. I now embrace my changing body and recognize that every pound is ensuring that I am creating a healthy, strong, new life.
